Mill Valley Village is a place to belong, to connect with old and new friends. Our more than 100 local volunteers, your neighbors, couple old-fashioned neighborliness with modern know-how to provide a wide range of programs and valuable benefits to fellow villagers as well as the broader Mill Valley community.
Mill Valley Village Holiday Party
Come Celebrate the Season
Thursday, December 12th,
3:00 - 5:00pm
This annual get-together of Mill Valley Village volunteers, members and friends is a perfect time to catch up with villagers we may not see as often as we might wish. It is great fun with lots of food, friends, libations and good cheer. There will be sounds of the season and plenty of time to check in with neighbors and other villagers as we work our way through all the holiday treats. For more information check the event listing here.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Spirit Rock - First Thursday Afternoons
Mill Valley Villagers (members, volunteers and friends) are invited to join us for this monthly program featuring video talks from the world famous Spirit Rock Center. Given the popularity of these sessions in 2019, we are holding them monthly in 2020. We will generally aim for the first Thursday of the month, though we will start right off with an exception, skipping January 2nd (due to New Year's) and instead meeting January 9th.
And we are trying a new and newly-refurbished venue, Scout Hall. We hope you will join us. For more details, check your newsletter or click here.

Mill Valley Public Library and Mill Valley Village Present
"Elderhood: Louise Aronson"
Friday, October 25th, 7pm
We were delighted to see so many villagers at this latest offering from the partnership between Mill Valley Village and our amazing Mill Valley Library! Dr. Louise Aronson, author of the New York Times bestseller "Elderhood: Redefining Aging, Transforming Medicine, Reimagining Life", and UCSF Professor of Medicine, in conversation with Dr. Dawn Gross (Host, Dying to Talk radio show) was a winning combination.
We thank you for attending and look forward to bringing you more quality programs in 2020.
A Celebration of Mill Valley Village Artists
September 22nd, 3 - 5pm
Mill Valley Golf Course Clubhouse
For those of you who were able to make it, it was a lovely, sociable afternoon celebrating and admiring these artists and their art. We were all just amazed at the variety and the quality of the work on display. There were paintings, ceramics, photography, sculpture, handwork, fabric art and more. Truly impressive.
As hoped, it was an easy-going afternoon with plenty of time to mingle and talk with artists about their work, while enjoying refreshments and each other's company. And adding a new dimension to our connections with our fellow villagers.
A big thank you to the amazing planning team of Ginna Fleming, Mary Hammond, Trish Hibben, Karen Robbins and Liz Stone.
And thank YOU for making it a very special afternoon!
