The Las Gallinas Ponds are one of the easiest and most accessible nature preserves, with level gravel paths surrounding the three ponds in a two-mile loop. The trail is wide and flat, and you can shorten the distance by circling one, two, or three ponds. The paths wind atop levees bordering San Pablo Bay offering amazing views.
